The IAED is a network organization with regional hubs in all parts of the world. Based on the communicative capacity of human beings, use of knowledge and dialogue is the only possible way to create democratic and practical solutions to the governance vacuum generated by globalization.

Mission
The IAED promotes the advancement of multilayered democracy from the local to the global level.

The IAED supports the accelerated learning of key democratic players through innovative educational tools, sharing of knowledge, networking and exchange of experiences.
